City College Library's Online Resources

What is a library database?

A library database is an online resource to which the library subscribes. Library databases are collections of resources, such as peer-reviewed journal articles, ebooks, videos, audio files, newspapers, and more.

LIRN – Library and Information Resources Network

LIRN is available to all current City College students and faculty and includes a collection of journal articles, ebooks, encyclopedias, newspapers, magazines, audio and video clips. Click here to contact library staff for LIRN access

Accessing eResources in the Student Portal

City College students have access to dozens of electronic databases, all available through the Student Portal.

This quick tutorial will show you how to access the library databases through the Student Portal.
